Psycho (1960)

In Psycho Hitchcock rewrote horror's DNA, introducing a chilling narrative where Norman's creepy charm and his mother's influence take center stage.
Every detail has been meticulously crafted, from the deceptive shots of the $40,000 Marion steals (the MacGuffin), to the infamous shower scene (45 seconds shot in a week).
That’s why, during its theatrical release, the director enforced a ban on late admissions to preserve the suspense crescendo until the Norman’s spine-chilling smile at the end.
